On February 9, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held at the Shenzhen headquarters of Kaadas Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“Kaadas”), bringing together Kaadas, ChasingLight Technology, and Zhejiang University.
The signing was attended and witnessed by Su Qiyun, Chairman of Kaadas Group; Yang Xi, CEO of ChasingLight Technology; Professor Chen Hongzheng, Professor at Zhejiang University's Department. This marks the formal entry of ChasingLight's OPV technology integration with Kaadas' smart lock products into a substantive implementation phase.

Zhejiang University will contribute its research capabilities and talent advantages in the OPV field, providing foundational research.
ChasingLight Technology will be responsible for translating research outcomes into customized OPV solutions and mass-producible modules.
Kaadas will leverage its full-industry-chain capabilities and global market presence to drive OPV applications in smart security and smart home scenarios.
The three parties aim to address critical industry challenges in smart device endurance and energy efficiency.
Kaadas, a globally recognized premium smart lock brand, holds 711 patents and sells its products in 36 countries including the United States and Singapore, with over 10 million units sold worldwide. This partnership represents a strategic move by Kaadas to expand into green smart products and broaden its technological frontiers, delivering more innovative and environmentally conscious smart living experiences for consumers.
Leveraging ChasingLight's OPV technology – with its unique advantages in low-light energy harvesting, ultra-thin flexibility, and non-toxic safety – the collaboration enables zero-carbon power supply through efficient ambient light collection. The inherently safe, non-toxic nature of OPV materials ensures user safety, while the entire process from production to deployment embodies low-carbon principles, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable design.
This collaboration will develop low-carbon techonology development in consumer electronics and smart home devices, drive industrial upgrading through integrated innovation, and set a new benchmark for synergizing China’s smart manufacturing with green technology.
